Overview

	We are a unique Bed & Breakfast located in National Park “de Sallandse Heuvelrug”, a protected nature reserve in the green heart of the Netherlands province Overijssel.
	“B&B De Kleine Kolonel” offers year round accommodation to those who value nature, peace and tranquillity in 5-star comfort.
	The National Park “Sallandse Heuvelrug” lies on the border of the historic regions Salland and Twente in the province of Overijssel, in the east of the Netherlands. The glacial hills rise 80 meters above the surrounding countryside. These hills are covered with green pastures, wild woodlands and heather and are home to the very last black grouse in this part of Europe.

Location & Transportation

Unique located inside a National Park. Hills covered with woods, grasland, heather for hikes and cycling. Deer wonder around our house, while many different species of birds, foxes and badgers are all present.
Directions	From Amsterdam, drive the A1 Motorway past Deventer. Exit 26 direction Holten, Nieuw Heeten, Haarle. From Germany, drive A1 to Hengelo, A35 to Almelo and N35 past Nijverdal, turn left on KM30 of N35.
Transportation	Train to Nijverdal West from Zwolle Railway station, or Train to Nijverdal from Hengelo, Almelo Railway Stations.
Airport	Amsterdam Schiphol = 130km

	This old converted barn offers the old barn feel, but includes all modern facilities. One double room is located entirely on the ground floor. While the other is a split level apartment, with a downstairs bathroom and upstairs bedroom.
	The Pullman boxspring beds ensure a relaxing night sleep. Beds can be placed as either singles or doubles, please indicate preference on reservation.
	B&B De Kleine Kolonel is a non-smoking establishment and is less suited to both children and pets.
